What are you using for a sound source? Are you using a hardware synth? You can press control K 3 times to turn on the audio click.

Subject: [ddots-l] No Clicks When I Record

I'm using Sonar 6 with CakeTalking 6.2. The tutorial says there will be
clicks at the set tempo when I start recording, but I'm not getting these
clicks. I'm having to just count off the tempo before recording which is
kind of annoying. I'm sure there's an easy solution, but it's escaping me.
