OK, the drivers didn't install correctly. The loader's in the right place,
but you should also have entries under the other group.

Best wishes.

Nope, forgot to mention that it didn't. Under universal serial bus
controllers, the midisport loader shows up and says it is working properly.
But again, nothing under sound and audio, which is where I thought it would
be listed. All that is there is the built in motherboard sound as well as
my soundblaster and m-audio soundcards.
Thanks

Does the unit show up in the Windows 7 Device Manager under Sound and Audio
Devices?

Best wishes.

Subject: [ddots-l] M-audio midi sport 4x4 midi interface in windows7?

Hi all
Still working on weekends getting this desktop studio set up and saw that my
m-audio midisport 4x4 doesn't seem to be recognized by any program, be it
sonar, sound forge 10 etc. I downloaded and installed drivers that said
they supported windows7 64 bit and reinstalled them multiple times, plugged
and unplugged the USB cable, restarted sonar etc and still no luck. Has
anyone had success with these interfaces? If this can't be resolved, I may
pick up the cakewalk UM-3G 3x3 since I'm sure that will work 100 percent. I
am hoping my m-audio delta2496 card won't have any issues either since I
would like to use as much of my set up from my xp machine as possible and
not have to purchase new equipment. I haven't tested it so far for
recording but programs recognize it and playback seems fine so we will see.
Thanks for any help
Jay
