[ddots-l] Master bus in sonar

Hi: Can someone explain to me in Sonar, what the Master bus does.  I've
tried to change parameters in it and hear no difference.  The caketalking
tutorial says nothing about it.  It doesn't appear in the track pane but
only in the bus pane.  Any help would be appreciated.
