Hey man. Oddly enough, the problem only seems to exist on firewire audio devices. Here's something to try. If you've got any kind of generic USB sound card such as a headset or iMic or creative or something like that, plug that in and make that your default audio device in the windows sound control panel. That way, the sigmatell card won't be used. Disable networking, and you should be up and running with no problems. I'll give this a try tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
