You set the latency from the properties window of the fa66's control pannel. The disk i/o is set to 128 by default, which should be adequate for most situations. Zero latency is really not something you are going to get with realtime recording. Supposedly, the new audio format in vista will be better than asio, we';ll have to see about that.
