Mike,

Big time registry problem, probably associated with some disk space gone
bad. Try the following to uninstall Sonar instead of using Add/Remove
Programs:

1 - Go to Start|Programs|Cakewalk|Sonar 6 Producer Edition|Uninstall

2 - Once you've uninstalled, reboot;

3 - Go to Start|Run and type the following command into the dialog:

Cmd

Then press Enter;

3 - You'll get something like an old-fashioned DOS prompt. Type the
following commands followed by Enter keys:

Cd %temp%

Del *.*
(you'll need to confirm this one by pressing Y then Enter)

Cd \windows\temp

Del *.*
(again, you'll need to confirm)

Chkdsk c: /f /r
(You need to run this command once for each hard drive you've got, so
replace c: with d:, as appropriate. The command will almost certainly tell
you that the drive is locked and ask you if you want the check to be
performed the next time the system boots - say "yes" by pressing Y then the
Enter key in each case);

Exit
(this command will close the command prompt and return you to Windows)

4 - Reboot again and don't be alarmed if it takes the system a long time
before it loads up Jaws, etc.;

5 - Follow on from my previous message.

Best wishes.
