I know that one, but what about the odd ones like 400HZ+450HZ, that's not
even close to the standard frequencies for G4 and A4.

yes, Wikipedia is a start.
or, use your ears and a keyboard to get close.
For example, a dial tone in North America is fourth octave F with 
fourth octave A.
