Hi all,
With the talk of Sonar 6 being out, I like to at least put on everyone's
mine that it takes time to put all the testing that David and bill are doing
to insure you and I have a good product to work with.
Also, they must deal with the good people at Cakewalk, and can only move as
fast as the developers will let them, so my suggestion would be to hold on.
Do you remember how long it took for Sonar 5 to hit the market? I don't
think that a solution for the waiting will happen soon, but on the other
hand, you can save in the long run, if you don't buy Sonar 6 until the end
of its life cycle.
You'll get a free upgrade to 7, and by the time 7 is out, I'm sure the
scripts will be in place, or close to being ready.
The bottom line is, we as CT users must understand the work that goes in to
each version, and show some patients with the development of each version
if we want to enjoy working within Sonar.
                    James

I feel the same way as wlel. Sib4 if I recaull is out and yet we have to use
sib3 wich is fine by me but some of us might need to upgrade. Same with
versions of jaws. 7.1 and soon to be 8 are out and we have to use 6. 7 works
with sib, sort of but sort of is not going to cut it when one has to do this
professionally. Take care and have a good evening.

The same here too
I really would like to mention my appreciation to David.
He is doing good jobs around the blind community, particularly in writing
scripts for blind sound enginers.
I also would like to mention that we are lagging behind our sighted sound
enginers.
While we are having CT5 for Sonar5, Sonar6 has been already released.
Therefore, I feel that we are one step back from the other sighted sound
enginers.
I hopefully believe that this problem will be solved soon.
Regards,
Berhane
