Hi Stacy, I guess you must have missed Bill McCann's posting on Friday. George. We return to regular business next week. . Although we have not "officially" released CakeTalking with a detailed announcement, we have begun to sell updates and new units to customers. If you place your order on or before April 1, your update from CT 5 or 6 will be $129 and from all other versions will be $169. After that, prices above move up to $149 and $199. These are prices for North America. International distributors set their own prices. I apologize to those customers who have experienced longer than usual wait times for us to fill your order. Rest assured we will do so as soon as possible. During our recent testing cycle for CakeTalking for SONAR 7, one of our beta testers reported some problems with using JAWS 9 and SONAR 7 but no other testers could replicate the problem until very recently. I met with David Pinto, CakeTalking's developer, yesterday. He determined that JAWS 9 is sometimes not able to read lists in SONAR 7 even without our scripts loaded. In other words, this problem is a problem with JAWS 9 and how it interacts with SONAR 7. David is working with the developers at Freedom Scientific to try to resolve the problem. Again, it seems that some people are not having the problem but a significant number are. Accordingly, if you encounter this problem with JAWS 9 and SONAR 7, we recommend that you download and install JAWS 8 or JAWS 7.10 to use with SONAR 7 until this problem is resolved. If you are authorized to use JAWS 9, you can download and install any earlier version of JAWS without additional cost or authorization. Go to www.freedomscientific.com <http://mailcenter.comcast.net/wm/toolbar/www.freedomscienti fic.com> and follow the "Downloads" link to find earlier versions of JAWS for download. I look forward to this new demo. I'm sure it has been covered before, but what are the costs for upgrading to CT and Sonar 7 for CT/Sonar 6 users. Is Rapture the goods or is it more of the same soft synth bizness? I've seen all the stuff from Cakewalk, but am curious as to what will be made accessible for us. Gordon, any chance of another audio presentation?? Just Curious Jeff
