That would work, but in this instance, she's not getting the email directly from this guy's address, she's getting it through the DancingDots listserve address as we all are. The only way to avoid them is to block the Dancing dots list, which is not what she wants. If you have outlook, you can create a rule that deletes any messages that have this guys email in the from box, not that is, but that contain, that way the line "From: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx onbehalf of blablabla" would be flagged, if blablabla was what you told outlook to look for as part of the from line. See my other msg for more details. Annabelle, If you have AT&T as your ISP then you need to go to the web mail page and click on Mail Options, then find Spam. In that area you'll find a place where you can add E-Mail addresses to be blocked before ever being sent to your Inbox. I tried putting this guy's Email address on my blocked senders list, but I don't know why his emails still show up in my Inbox, even when he's not in my Contacts, Safe Senders, and Safe Recipients Lists. -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Farfar in the Workshop Sent: Thursday, January 19, 2012 1:53 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Big Big News! Chris, I put his E-Mail address into a blocked sender list on my AT&T site so they don't even get delivered to my intray. Ditto for our friend Mostafa Al'mahdy. So nice to not be bothered with these, and I think another one came into the Midi-Mag list, as well.
