Hi Everyone,

Woo hoo! Problem is solved and I'm so happy I could shout for everyone to
hear! Thank you everyone for all of your tips, comments and suggestions. I
received a response from Korg and indeed, I was missing a very important
couple of settings via the synthe. Here is what has to happen with regards
to the settings on the synthe for anyone with a Korg Triton Extreme. Might
also be helpful to others as well of course. My sighted daughter had to
help me make the settings but once they are saved, they don't have to be set
again.

1. In the Global options, touch System Pref, tab on the bottom of the screen
and set the bank Map to KORG. By default, it is set to GM2.
2. go to the top right corner of the screen, when in Global mode, and go to
Write Global settings and touch OK a
few times.. Whatever settings you have set in Global mode will be saved and
you will not have to reset them each time you turn off the keyboard.

Note: Once we had the bank map set to Korg, went ahead and saved the global
settings. Then, I went back into Global options, pressed the menu key,
touched midi P1, chose external USB, turned local off, made sure that bank
change was enabled and then chose the write global settings and okayed until
we were out of the screen. Now everything is working perfectly. So, now
it's time for me to begin to tackle other areas such as getting a mixer and
begin to record. I'm so excited! Grins.

Kind Regards,
Kim Ellsworth

I think this has to do with setting up your instrument definitions.
