For me I learn from listening to Audio tutorials. The keyboards that I have is got Audio tutorials. The PSR-S900 and the Tyros2 have audio tutorials. That would be awesome if we could have that. Daren, if we have to pay some of it we will. Because, I know how hard it is to do that and how long it is as well.

Hi Dave.

I totally agree with you that the CakeTalking tutorials are very good and comprehensive.

However, people learn in a variety of ways.

I work for a company that offer services that assist individuals to build a long term profitable Internet business

Their tutorials are available in text, video and downloadable mp3's.

They also offer one-to-one coaching, online classroom and live, in-person classroom workshops.

They don't have to because the written stuff is brilliant as it is, but folks learn in different ways.

I don't know yet if this will be a goer or worth my time investment, but it doesn't hurt to find out if there's a need.

I also agree that Dancing Dots should be contacted if you think the text tutorials aren't helping. They can not be expected to fix something if they don't know it's broken.

Cheers
Darren

My answer is coming from the perspective of working with the Caketalking
tutorials. Yes, I would use them if you create. I would like to see clear
definitions and applications of terminology, options for their use and
practical application explained, perhaps in an Appendix to tutorial
instructions. It appears to me that some basics in Caketalk are over
explained, and then there is an intermediate explanation gap and then
advanced descriptions offered without much attention to user ability level.
Perhaps this is done on purpose, the thinking being that nobody without a
certain level of experience will be accessing the more advanced areas in the
user manual.

Hi folks.

I'm considering producing some audio tutorials for Sonar so am here to ask
you if this would be useful to you and for the top 3 things you'd like to
have included.

Obviously, if the interest isn't there, I'm not going to waste everyone's
and my own time.

So, just a yes or no for interest, and a list of up to 3 things you'd like
to have included.

For example it might be...

1. Tutorial about how to save a track template.

2. How to get a rough mix from a project.

3. How to put together a realistic drum track using drum samples.

You get the idea.

Cheers
Darren
