Count how many beats are in the loop, go to acid properties and select beats
as the time format and type in the beats. Forge should calculate the tempo
automatically. I also go to tempo options and do the same, sometimes Sonar has
issues importing these loops and doing the tempo properties fixes the problem...

  Hey Gord!

Please could you explain the steps for acidizing something in Forge...

I've never been able to get it right!

  Cheers

  Mike

    Hello:
If the scratch sample is something that you can figure out the tempo, you
can use something like sound forge to acidize it. I know this can be done with
the loop construction view in Sonar, but frankly I've always used sound forge
for this purpose. Once you have the sample locked to tempo, you can import it
into Sonar and enable looping in the clip context menu and it will follow your
project's tempo.

      Hello: I've created an R&B track using Sonar 8.02 with CT8. I found a
scratch sample that I'd like to incorporate into this song but the tempo of the
project is faster than the scratch sample. My question is, how do I use audio
snap to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Regards,

      Ernest McCullough.
