Not sure how much it exposes its parameters, but fm7 is the most accessible of that line, and it's very much one of the best fm synths. Try googling fm synthesizers (though there are many), and check out http://www.synthedit.com they have synths made on that platform, they're usually somewhat accessible/usable.
