OK, if you have the samples already made, meaning the sound wav files, you can use something like sound forge or gold wave or something like that which are some what accessible to manipulate the sounds and make your samples, and then use the sfz format to create your own libraries, and use them either as sfz instruments with the sfz player, or use awave or extreme sample converter to go from sfz format to sound font, giga, or whatever you use already. Need more info, let me know, maybe we can talk/exchange ideas off list, as I am also getting interested in recording some trance/dance/techno/jungle stuff myself, but don't know where to start... Hi all, First many thanks for the answers:-) I will use the samplers for creating and manuplating sounds or my own sounds. I will also use it to create new samplers (for example pitch a voice ) or put trance drum loops in and change their oktaves and so on and so on:-) I think as time goes by I will find out what I exaktly need. I think its very interessting that Sonar 5 will have a sampler that should be accessible for us blind users. I hope it realy is and can help me to create what I need. If someone has more information then I would like to know it. To make your own samples, or to create instruments or what? This might give a better direction as in where to look... Hello all together, For my style of Music (Dance and Trance) that I want to produce I will have to work with a sempler very often. My question now is if there is or will be a sempler that blind people will be able to use and if yes how accessible is it? I imagine the best would be if a sempler is accessible to control the knops and efekts with a midi-controler so that efekts can be made easily and in real time. Has anyone informations on that? I only have seen semplers as hardware with a big floppy and so much menue driven that it will be impossible for blind people to use them. The software semplers I have looked over also seem not to work with jaws. Any help is realy welcome and much appricated.
