Did you drag the Window back in the Saffire Control panel application before trying to do this? Try using the keystroke, Alt Plus Shift Plus L. If you do that, are you told to drag the Window back? Hi Phil, its Mike c, I'm having a slight problem with my saa fire When I use the hot spots and let say I go to the first input, I lock the mouse on the volume control, and bring it all the way to to +6. For some strange reason I can't gring down the volume, and Jaws still reports that I'm at +6. Any way in which I can fix this? -----Original Message----- From: Phil Muir Sent: Sunday, April 03, 2011 5:01 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: 32 or 64-bit Sonar? Not good. Try changing the driver firewire latency I think it's called from long to short in the settings menu. Note: when doing this make sure Sonar and all other applications that use drivers are not active or, you won't be able to access those settings. Thanks Chris. "total round trip, 32.1 sec, 1417 samples." That's with the asio Saffire pro-14 drivers at 24 bit/44100. What do you think? Bob. -----Original Message----- From: Chris Smart Sent: Sunday, April 03, 2011 2:41 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: 32 or 64-bit Sonar? Hi Bob. I'm using a Motu interface here, and it's a little finicky. But, at 24-bit 96KHZ, I'm seeing 5.2MS round trip. If you go into Global, Audio Options and hit Numpad Insert+3, you can find out how long it takes audio to go in and back out. Also, if you're having trouble with one driver type, WDM for example, try changing that to ASIO. Chris PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
