you probably mean Sonar X1. X1 has an entirely different user interface, so I doubt we will be seeing any version of CakeTalking to work with it for awhile.
And yes, work on a CakeTalking update for Sonar 8.53 is moving along. I'm part of the beta group so of course I can't say any more.
