Please lift him up in prayer as the situation sounds quite dire. I've
known him for a long time

Hey Friends,
I'm writing to ask for your prayers for our dear friend Rich. He is
currently in the cardiac care unit at Valley Med. He was working last
Friday (at Valley Med) when he started experiencing shortness of breath. He
walked himself to the ER and they discovered that he had an abnormal heart
rhythm. He has since gone into heart failure and his situation is critical,
he's currently intubated and his sister said his prognosis is not looking
good. He's on medication and the doctors are monitoring his liver and
kidneys. I guess in situations like these, if his heart function is
compromised, other organs will start to lose function. I know, this is all
very sudden and shocking. I am praying for God's mercy on Rich... that Rich
would know God's presence with him and that he would not feel alone.
The hospital is not allowing any visitors, outside of family. I don't know
what else we can do at this point, but pray. I'll keep you posted if I get
any updates.
