I have a short video project I want to put together regarding our kids who
would benefit from the passing of the Cogswell-Macy Act. This video will
portray the DeafBlind kids aspect (Title III) of this Act. I'm hoping to make
it very short, 30-60 seconds with the goal of getting many likes and at least
a thousand shares, sharing it far and wide to increase awareness and advocacy
for this Act.
I need photos and very short video clips of families with their (birth to 21)
DeafBlind child (who's at the center of it all!)
I am also interested in using photos or videos of your DeafBlind child
actively working with his/her intervener and/or Teacher of the DeafBlind.
Deadline for submission is February 22, 2016.
This will give me a week to put it together in time for our family and
friends participating in the First Capitol Hill DeafBlind Advocacy Day (March
2, 2016 in Washington, DC).
Please e-mail your media files to me at skytasio@xxxxxxxxx with your child's
name and your family name. Names will be added in the end credits (example:
Orion and the Withrow Family).
Examples can be seen at this link:

Images: Landscape mode, saved as .jpg, .gif, or .tif., at least approximately
1920x1080 pixels in size work best (a.k.a. 7” x 5” at 300 d.p.i.).
Videos: 10 seconds or less and saved as .mp4, .avi, or .mov. (Landscape or
portrait is fine.)
You should only submit photos and videos that you have the legal right to
share with others. (Files that you personally created or have permission from
the photographer/videographer to share.)
