On March 2, 2016, there will be approximately 50 people from around the
United States to advocate for children that are blind, deaf, and deafblind in
support of the Cogswell-Macy Act.
We had sent out a letter a couple of weeks ago for y'all to write your
Congressmen to support the bill.
There is not a bill in the Senate yet. Simply speaking we NEED to get our
United States Senators to do this!
My request ....please call OUR U.S. SENATORS WASHINGTON DC OFFICES STARTING
SENATOR JOHN CORNYN
SENATOR TED CRUZ
Vivecca Hartman, her daughter Kaylina, her sister in law, Angie, and myself
will be visiting Senator Cornyn's office on March 2.
It would be a very powerful impact to have the phones in his office ringing
off the wall asking him to support our deafblind children !!!!
Go to www.intervener.org to look at the bill!
And please do not forget about your Congressmen. We need their support in
Texas has always been considered a strong state! You all can make a
difference! Lets show them how powerful we can be!
Interveners and Teachers of the Deafblind-It is the right thing to do!
If you don't know this? There are over 800 recognized children with combined
vision and hearing loss in Texas alone. In the United States.-About 11,000
Please share this with your family and friends.....we need them.
Thank you all!
