Join Vision Australia’s fashionistas for a discussion on dressing in style when
you are blind or have low vision.
We will cover current fashion trends for men and women, how to work out your
style, what to wear when, and strategies for going shopping. Participants will
be able to ask questions live during the webinar.

Meet our Panellists
Two great panellists will be sharing their insights and knowledge during the
webinar:
Kate Begley
Kate is 40 years old and a sole mother of two boys aged 7 and 10. Kate was
diagnosed with Macular Dystrophy when she was 28. After diagnosis she returned
to university to gain a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, and she now works
as a Policy Advisor at Vision Australia. Kate has always loved fashion and in
her teen years became a collector of USA Vogue and Bazaar, accumulating a vast
amount of the glossy fashion mags. Her days of reading print material are
behind her but she still loves clothes and shoes and expresses herself through
fashion every day.
Vildana Praljak
Vildana is 33 years old and was diagnosed with Cone Dystrophy when she was 25.
She is a Bosnian native who moved to Melbourne for love. She is now happily
married to the man who she re-located for and lives with him and their cat in
inner east of Melbourne. Vildana works at Vision Australia as Client Insights
and Engagement Co-ordinator. Outside of work she is a passionate performer and
is very skilled in the art of aerial silks. Her creativity also extends to her
love of fashion. Vildana’s style is avant garde, chic and always uniquely
Vildana. She is a fashion inspiration to many who meet her and will provide
some fabulous tips to attendees of the Dress with Style webinar.
