Ah found it. All ok now. Forgot to activate the main dictionary

Me too but my problem is somewhat different. Having just upgraded to 2.77z
I find that Spell Check does not work at all. Well at least the user
dictionary does but the main dictionary seems to have gone AWOL.
As I am sure I have but a quick run round choices and preferences does not

seem to yield anything about Spell Check. I am sure in the distant past I
knew what I had to do, but that was then and this is now.
If anyone can offer a clue to what I should do that would be a help
gratefully received.
Are the features which Peter refers to exclusive to the PC edition? - they
seem to be standard PC spellcheck features.
