PrintPDF is a very clever work around and a very useful way of improving
a rather messy process. Please don't take any of the following as
criticism of PrintPDF which I think is an excellent application.

However, to use PrintPDF you still have to install an extra item of
software and have an additional Printer installed that I am only going to
use very occasionally. While this is not a huge problem it is still more
convenient with an application like Artworks that simply lets you choose
to export a .pdf file without having to ensure something else is
installed (and loaded) first. It also avoids having to go via the RISC
OS printing system which is not always perfect!

It is just a difference of degree. I'll admit I'm probably being lazy
but I just like the convenience of the direct generation.
