That may be the source of the problem. In this thread a few days ago I asked why I could get PNG files to load into OP and CFSI on a VRPC (RiscOS 4) but not on an Iyonix (RiscOS 5). I got no response ... but further delving on the Internet led me to the following page: http://www.iyonix.com/iyonix/features/503notes.shtml

This indicates that RO 5.03 had no PNG support, unlike RiscOS 4 select. I'm not aware that PNG support has been provided in subsequent versions of RO5. Does this perhaps explain why neither of us has had any joy with PNG files and OP/CFSI?

Perhaps someone with more technical knowledge of these matters would like to comment ...?

Clive, I would assume, because the Iyonix version of RISC OS is a retro OS, it doesn't contain the additional graphic convert modules (ConvertPNG 0.37) that the RO Select/Adjust versions have, that enable CFSI to convert more graphic filetypes.

ConvertPNG, BMP, etc.

Thanks, that's useful to know. I had wondered what was meant by "PNG support", tho' I assumed it was something more than CFSI and TransFSI.
