Yes Chris is quite right, it's a bug fix for everyone and the bug it
fixes is not one of raising a zpp error.
It would be mad to start writing software that won't work on all
versions of RISC OS.
(other than things like RISC OS 2)
It's a pity that someone didn't set out to expose software that had zero
page problems and make a fuss way back. It was a known problem, it was
easy to spot (often the contents of location zero changed). It was plain
wrong.

No, quite the reverse. It means that a cause of possible random
problems on the current OS has been eliminated. You should always
upgrade to a ZPP version of any software. When a full ZPP ROM comes
along you will be ready for it.
