Isn't that kind of like a NAS is?
The one I have here, will work stand alone, no computer, stick a (For
example) memory stick in a particular USB socket on it and it will take
all the data from the stick and put it on the NAS Drive.
Not forgetting of course, there's always the "Twilight Zone" where
anything is possible. ;-)
