No nothing has changed with the timestamps, and saving then re-loading still makes no change. >>David, the document in question is the knitting book "A Stitch In >>Time" which I sent you a copy of back in 2009. > It is a great book. It was produced using Ovation Pro on RISC OS, and also using a bunch of other RISC OS software such as ArtWorks, Photodesk, DPlngScan, plus a few custom ones of my own. I've done some other books since that one, also in OPro but nothing as big only 80 to 100 pages. With 'Check for missing fonts' unselected it now loads in a staggeringly fast time of 5.47 seconds. Which is a massive improvement compared to waiting almost 5 minutes. Thank you so much for that suggestion, it makes the prospect of doing the volume 2 much more appealing. There's about 125 ArtWorks files in the book, all containing large JPEG images, which now I think of the loading process and each one having to be scanned for fonts, it's no wonder it was taking so long to open the document.
