I tried saving from OP as text with a view to importing into Easiwrite
but, of course, the text output from OP has no formatting (bold, italics

I have TransRTF and my save options include RTF
Thanks, Charles. Since my original query a couple of years ago things have
moved on a lot in terms of cross-platform document transfer. I now use the
PoScript3 driver and PrintPDF to produce pdf files from OP. These have worked
well for me.
