This is very welcome, thanks.
But alas, there seems to be one quite serious problem: footnotes are
apparently thrown away. I appreciate that they can't be put in
properly where they belong, but it's important that the text in them
must not be lost, however it might be marked where it is given. Can
this be fixed?
(This is one of those things introduced by slash-asterisk as not
in early versions of RTF.)
