A 4MB JPEG is going to turn into a very large image when it is expanded - you tell me width x height pixels. Even so I would have thought you'd get away with it.

A critical factor is if the JPEG needs colour processing, if it does not then it is sent straight to RISC OS and components of that may run out of memory. Otherwise one looks to Ovation Pro.

I always fancied the idea of adding a feature to OP that would re-sample images to the necessary resolution.

Difficult calculation to do mentally because printer resolution may be much higher than the screen, but then effectively reduced by the need to use half toning.
