[softwarelist] OvationPro intermittent crashes?

I /think/ I may have found a cause of Louie's random crashes but I'm a bit
puzzled so wonder if anyone else who's been having odd crashes with OvPro
might be able to shed some light on.....?

I've located what appears to be a corrupted font on the Iyonix, which
although it appears to display ok, has none the less resulted in no crashes
so far, since I moved it out of the !Fonts directory.

It was the "Walrod" font (originally from Harry Decker I think). I removed
it a couple of days ago and Louie says the machine has not crashed since,
so I wonder if something odd about this font was causing problems?

Viewing it in !FontEd displayed a weird 'blob' obscuring part of the "A"
character (although A appeared fine on screen!!). Using FontEd, I've now
corrected the font so that it appears and loads correctly into FontEd so I
may re-install and see if the crashes reappear or anything.

However, I was wondering if anyone else with the Walrod font is suffering
from the odd, unexpected crash - in which case it might be worth also
removing it to see if any improved reliability is observed.....

Thought this may interest peeps.
