Thanks for the input and reminding me about the archives. I ahve now realised that I am not getting David's direct posts re upgrades, etc. So it is looking very likely that there is some filter that is causing the problem. I shall monitor the situation via the archive to make sure that it is only David's posts that are affected and then contact my server.
No need to repeat posts as suggested which a practice that I deplore and will not encourage.
At my age (nearly 89) with most of my marbles and in a care home because of physical disabilties, I really do appreciate seeing these posts and on other sites. For the record my first home computers were a ZX81 and a BBC way back in 1981.
