I think Dave means something else: when selecting a bunch of text by
dragging a bounding box, the OPro window starts scrolling automatically
= and fast - when nearing the bottom. The SELECT and ADJUST approach
avoids this.

I understand what you are saying Paul, but that's not the problem in this
case.
Sorry folks I think maybe you are all misunderstanding what I'm asking.
I select a block of text (without any scroll problems). :-)
If, while over the selection, I hold the mouse select button down a small
Blue rectangle presents attached to the mouse pointer.
If I drag this to another part of the document the hilighted text is moved
to the new position.
If, while over the selection, I press the Shift Key, and hold the mouse
select button down a small Blue rectangle presents attached to the mouse
pointer.
If I drag this to another part of the document the hilighted text is
copied to the new position.
And so on with other keys...
It's while dragging the Blue box to another part of the document the whizz
to the top or bottom happens.
Slowing down the mouse scroll from Configuration, doesn't slow the sudden
whizz down the OvPro screen of the pointer and Blue box.
