[ . . . ] With all this PhD expertise in Borders, can you then please clear up a mystery for simpletons like me about borders in OvPro? (I'm using v.2.77) When doing DTP work for the monthly parish mag, I almost invariably place articles in boxes so that I can later easily rearrange their order: I rule off each box/article by activating the bottom line of its border. These normally need to be simple lines, 0.25mm in width. However, always the default width is 1mm and I have to correct it - a real bind. (It may also be the reason why, when I occasionally try importing ancient Publisher files, all their pictures and boxes have thick lines around them?) Well, I've accessed Choices and gone to 'Line' and set the Default line width as 0.25mm; then clicked on OK & Save. But the lines still keep their default value of 1mm. What am I doing wrong? Is there a different option? Michael Harding Rev. Preb. M.D. Harding riscos@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or subscribe goto: //www.freelists.org/list/davidpilling
