This might be a silly question since you've been using Linux a lot
longer than my month or so - but have you tried running OvPro under Wine?
Yes I did start using Ubuntu Linux many years ago, but got fed up with all
the CLI stuff needed, so got rid of it.
I think it was last year sometime I installed it on a USB stick so I could
have a play again and see if it had moved on to the 21st century.
I've obviously heard of Wine but never used it, so as long as it could be
installed without a load of CLI stuff, that sounds like a solution, not
only for OvPro but for a couple of other Win only apps I use.
