Good idea. Apply picture settings to selection. Not implemented though.
In general OP is not good at allowing things to be applied to selections.
There is a fiddle though. Select a number of picture frames then apply a
frame setting which hides the picture.
Say your frame is 80mm wide, set an inset of 40mm - picture vanishes,
and you can apply this to many frames at once.
OP will raise an error if the inset is too large for the frame.
