For Bernard B to tell us if the filters are working.
Well, I created versions of a scan as BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF, EPS, JPG,
WMF, EMF (using Windows PaintShop Pro 6.2), plus Draw and Sprites
types 5 and 6 (using RISC OS), to load into Windows OPro 2.92
(02-Jan-2018).
None of them would load into a frame just by drag'n'drop (as David
reports), leaving the frame classified Text. All could be loaded via
File->Import..., though with some differing effects:
EPS was monochrome with very low resolution
WMF had crude colours
EMF was monochrome and lacked part of the graphic
Picture->Info... on the frame described BMP, EPS, JPG, WMF, EMF, Draw,
Sprite correctly, but described PNG, GIF, TIFF as Draw.
I have to assume that the filters most recently downloaded are in fact
being used, i.e. those in
C:\Program Files\DavidPilling\Filters\Filters\
which contains
TransBMP.exe 01-Jan-2018
TransDDF.exe 10-Feb-2007
TransGIF.exe 18-Aug-2006
TransIMP.exe 30-Mar-2010
TransPCX.exe 18-Aug-2006
TransPNG.exe 18-Aug-2006
TransTIF.exe 18-Aug-2006
Fortunately, I don't make much use of all thse formats, with or
without Windows OPro, but glad to see that PNGs do seem well handled.
