Agree about positioning. I notice that the modify object - text flow
settings have no effect on embedded frames.
Q1) I have an embedded frame and I want to paste a picture into it, but it
will not work.
Why?
I can take the picture file and drop it into the embedded frame okay, but
not paste it in from the clipboard?
I'vwe just tried this, and got it to work.
You have to be careful when copying, that you copy the picture, not the
picture frame. If you single click on the picture and copy you get the
frame with picture included. If you double-click you get the picture.
Note: I do not want to embed the picture itself I want it in an embedded
frame. (Reasons)
Q2) How do I get two embedded frames next to each other on the same
horizontal line?
I couldn't get this to work by clicking in front of the text immediately
following the first embedded frame. If I click one character after the
first frame and embed the second it works. I can then delete that
character and put it after the second frame.
