Hi,

Just had a thought. It looks as if CrossStar will crash when given any
word with an initial letter /d and after

When I speak of corruption, I mean binary corruption, the dictionary is a binary file and it has things like pointers to data, these all vanish when the file is saved as text.

Although if there is corruption it may end up with a corrupt text file of words.

I'll go look at the state of play on the Iyonix - were there fixes to the spelling part of OP for the new machines etc. - and report back.
