Again, knowing little I'm keen to reply - some RISC OS fonts have extra characters beyond the 224 normally on display, some software, not OP, but perhaps Techwriter (etc) can use a different "code page" (it's got a proper RISC OS name) and use these. So they may be there.
Think FontEd shows them and would let you copy them into a made up font of your own.
