On the RISC OS version many years ago you incorporated my patch, which (IIRC)
looks in !Printers choices feeds to see if the PS page name is defined and
inserts the code from the file. It allowed specific device settings to be set
up. That was the approach other applications used (in particular, one from
Computer Concepts - which we shall not speak its name ... !Voldemort or
!Macbeth)

Interesting - just to muddy the water, there is the "Direct PS setting"
(Misc->Choices->Print), wonder if Dave and Andy have different values to
explain one working and one not.
I have a dim (false?) memory that from RISC OS, there may be some
PostScript code that looks at the page size (i.e. name A4) and clips. So
if you call your football pitch sized page "A4_big" it might just get
clipped whilst "whopper" would not.
