Yes, the problem is OP having the concepts of click drag (mark text) and long click drag (move things). Whilst no one seemed to have problems with this on RISC OS on Windows it has upset people and I added a 

Choice->View->long click delay
setting. ISTR that by setting it big enough you can get rid of long click drags. See the changes file on the web site.
