A message to all members of dance-tech.net
Hello network,
this is Marlon, the network producer and I would like to welcome the new
members.
We are quickly approaching three hundreds members that are geographically
dispersed and with diverse interests and practices; therefore is it very
important that we explore possibility of using groups, discussions and
comments as a way to fully exploit the potential of the platform.
Remember you can update your profile as cool showcase of your work, blog or
re-blog about your activities, upload videos, photos and music.
Of course, you have the possibility of interact leaving comments for other
members posts, videos and photos. Events....very important!
I posted today an interview with the artist Michelle Ellsworth. I experimented
with a new approach to the interview presentation: I used the video sharing
platform Viddler that allows you to make video comments and create links in the
time line of the video. So, I linked her supporting video material to the time
line of the interview (hover over the dots). You can also leave comments in
the video as text or as video directly with your webcam...Very cool!
