Ballettikka Internettikka is an ongoing artistic study of the internet guerrilla
performance. After invading The Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow (March 2002), La Scala
in Milan (November 2004), The National Theatre in Belgrade (October 2005),
Volksbühne Berlin (July 2006) and others, Igor Stromajer and Brane Zorman will
perform two new internet ballets:

- Ballettikka Internettikka: RenminNetBallet
[ People's Internet Ballet - Reinterpretation ]
http://www.intima.org/bi/renmin
Saturday, 17 November 2007
9 AM Central European Time (GMT/UTC+1)
4 PM Hong Kong Standard Time (GMT/UTC+8)
-- in the Hong Kong City Hall handicapped toilet room, by re-enacting and
reinterpreting their own last year's VolksNetBallet performance from Volksbühne
Berlin. This time, the Hong Kong version of the German people's guerrilla
internet ballet will be created.

and

- Ballettikka Internettikka: Stattikka
[ Almost Static But Still Transitive Net Ballet ]
Live Internet Broadcast to Tele-Plateau, CYNETart, Trans-Media-Akademie
Hellerau, Dresden, Germany
-> from: Skyscraper Lippo Centre Tower 2
# flat roof terrace | Height = 186 m
Hong Kong HK C+

-- as a part of the Tele-Plateau - Performative Installation in Hellerau,
Dresden, broadcasting live from the roof terrace of the targeted skyscraper in
Hong Kong (Lippo Centre 2), in front of the densed cityscape, using a sad and
lonely commercial Silverlit R/C Robot Program-a-BOT, dancing an "Almost Static
But Still Transitive Net Ballet" for 30 minutes in an apparently stagnant Hong
Kong dawn.

Dancing a wireless internet ballet in the Hong Kong City Hall handicapped toilet
and on the roof of the skyscraper in Hong Kong represents a big conceptual and
strategic challenge to the Intima Virtual Base and all the collaborators,
therefore, the preparations have been taken seriously, safety measures have been
calculated, and the previous experiences have been very welcome.
