I had the same experience using the same setup: G4 10.4.11 client, EIMS and CA.

I can't believe that everyone is so happy that there is no list traffic?

Anyone installed yet?

Working on it but cpan build failed I think:

   -- NOT OK
Running make test
 Can't test without successful make
Running make install
make had returned bad status, install seems impossible

I let everything finish hit reload cpan:

cpan> reload cpan
................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
224 subroutines redefined
...........
11 subroutines redefined

....

Tried to move along but even reinstall cpan but get this:

Has already been processed within this session
Running make test
 Can't test without successful make
Running make install
make had returned bad status, install seems impossible

All the modules fail basically with the above message.

Running 10.4.11 client on G4. This box has EIMS and CA on it.
