It has to do with the underlying OS. You can manually install

http://www.net-dns.org/download/

DOwnload the version and then cd to the directory and then

path/to/activeState/perl Makefile.PL
make
sudo make install
OK, I'm trying to get ASSP running on a 10.3 box to go in front of our LetterRip server. I installed ActivePerl, and have gotten all but the Net::DNS modules to install. I assume they're supposed to be installed in the ActivePerl location, eg with: 

    sudo /usr/local/ActivePerl-5.10/bin/perl -MCPAN -e shell

?

When I try to install (and force install) Net::DNS, I get:

Any ideas?


Also, I found I had to force install a number of modules - is that OK?
Once I get this running, I'll run the ASSP installer. Do I have to configure it for the ActivePerl PERL location somewhere as well?
