Does assp learn in test mode only? I assume not.
No learns all the time.
How long should I leave it in test mode initially?
I left mine in test 24 hours on the first test and 30 minute the next. Scott likes 3-5 days.
I placed a starter spamdb (link on faq) so you can turn off test mode out of the box. However I would reco that you initially check your logs to make sure that all the other settings meet your requirements before turning off test mode.
