Hi San,
Sorry to be replying so late. I won't be able to attend today's nor Monday's
events. Irma and I are leaving Sunday for a vacation in Europe and I'm trying
to wrap up things at school, the factory job and elsewhere before we go.
We'll be back December 14.
See you shortly thereafter,
Mark

Subject: [cs_edworkers] Important: 7K protest at Hunter tomorrow (Thursday) at
3pm, then PSC march and rally this coming Monday
As people probably know, the CUNY contract expires tomorrow.
Two events that we need to have a good showing at, with our own signs (e.g.,
"To Win $7K: Prepare a Real Strike"; "To Win, Unite with NYC Workers, Not de
Blasio/Dems"; "Smash the Taylor Law"; "End Adjunct Poverty - Down with Two-Tier
Labor"; "No Tuition - Open Admissions; Abolish the Board of Trustees"...
1) Tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 30), beginning at 3:00 p.m.: A protest for the 7K
demand, and for free tuition, is being held in front of Hunter College. It is
called by various groups (CUNY Struggle and others).
2) This coming Monday, December 4: The PSC itself is calling what it is
billing as a major protest to launch the contract campaign.
The Monday protest schedule announced by the PSC is as follows:
4:30 PM Gather at CUNY Graduate Center, 365 5th Ave., at 34th St.
5:00 PM March to Baruch Vertical Campus, 55 Lexington Ave., at 25th St.
5:30 - 6:30 Rally Outside CUNY Board of Trustees Meeting, 25th St Pedestrian
Plaza, Baruch College
