I am very much in favor of this. Albeit briefly, I've discussed it with
Marjorie and Irina, as well as Kaitlan of the IG and RIY, who has been
doing readings with Melissa for some time. Among the first of those, at
Melissa's request, were materials on trade unionism.
Melissa is a young (early 20s) adjunct in the Computer Science Department
at Hunter. A pleasure to work with, over the past period she has been a
big help in energetically distributing CCU materials at PSC meetings,
helping out with my delegate election campaign at Hunter, and other
activities. She is also active in the Hunter Internationalist Club.
I would like to propose that there be a vote to make Melissa a member of
the CSEW.
