if regional "any phone at hotel feed audio (speex codec of room
audible speaking individuals)" was enabled, without a specific
scrutiny, then yes, phone is better. removing batteries a session
anomaly potentially alerted upon in a different manner, leading to
targeted exploitation which means you always lose.

as i said in another channel,
 defeating blanket, passive surveillance still huge win.

and yes 100%, current systems in every sector of life are vulnerable
to focused, skilled attackers of any stripe, GO, NGO, independent,
etc.

they repeatedly affirm Snowden has requested this.
 Snowden has repeatedly not asked for a blanket release
  nor a change in how the information is delivered.

i am withholding further judgement until there is further
 information.
